SHORT COURSE IVF PROTOCOL:

Day 2 of your cycle      -           7:30 – 8:30 am  1)   Scan                      

2)        You commence Lucrin

3)        First payment 30,000.00 as a deposit.

Day 5 of your cycle      -           You will start Gonal F and/or Luveris

(hormone) injections.  The hormone injections promote growth of the follicles in your ovaries.

The follicles contain the microscopic egg.

You initially will have 5 days of hormone injections.

6^th day after starting hormone injections.        7:30      -           8:30 am

                                                            Scan     to assess follicle growth.

                                                            Scan     further hormone injections

                                                            Scan     might need to be administered

(Please note that further hormone injections at this stage will increase your costs).

Egg aspiration:                                    Two days following last scan.

Sperm sample is required remember no more or no less than 3-4 days abstinence prior to giving sample.

A reconciliation of your account with oustanding payments being made
N.B:  ICSI is an additional cost (please discuss with accounts department)

                                                Embryo transfer 3 - 5 days later.

¯

Progesterone injections or suppositories for two weeks (Starting on day of aspiration).

¯

Pregnancy test 11 days after embryo transfer, if positive continue Progesterone Injections or Cyclogest suppositories.
